2013 Drivers Test
The grip is the first thing you notice. Everyone liked the tacky surface and spongy feeling of it. James didn’t like the loud green colour while Joel felt the stitching at the back of the handle interfered with his feel at address. The loud, hollow sound was ear-splitting, but Kit was blown away by the consistency of the flight. Graeme suggested the colour scheme would appeal to the younger audience.
A premium titanium face results in explosive power, while a mid-to-low CG optimises trajectory. Dynamic neutral weighting of the sole helps control the hottest parts of the face and promotes greater consistency.
