What we say...
Ram’s budget driver model may be the joint cheapest on test but it still performs at a decent level. The pointy 460cc head is designed to be more aerodynamic to maximise swing and ball velocity. The jazzy design, colourful graphics and quality Aldila VX shaft should mean that the FX-i attracts plenty of golfers on a budget.
Pro Verdict: I didn’t like the feel of this club but it goes pretty straight and although not the longest, its still a reasonable club at a very low price.
Tester Comments: “Looks good at address”… “Good looking club and great value for money”… “Didn’t feel that solid but better strikes got the treatment”… “Head looks like a piece of Toblerone but it goes pretty well”.
