What we say...

2013 Drivers Test

Both James and Joel immediately noticed the onset and weren’t fans of the leading edge being so far from the shaft. The club did feel lighter across our testing panel and everyone felt it sat squarely at address. Joel and Graeme felt the writing on the bottom of the shaft was a little off-putting but everyone apart from Chris really liked the contrast between the black head and white shaft. Some glare outside on the glossy crown made the alignment aid difficult to pick out at times. Offered tighter dispersion for slower swings.

Do you want an additional 15-yards off the tee and up to 10-yards on your iron shots? Then you’re going to want to read this, because Wilson Staff have launched their new D-100 range of woods and irons which are said to do exactly that. With more and more of the world’s top players moving to lighter clubs, Wilson decided to design a range which balances the correct weight distribution across the clubhead, shaft and grip for greater distance.

“Right Light” technology helps this driver weigh just 269g. The variable thickness in the large, deep face ensures a sizeable sweetspot for greater forgiveness on off-centre hits. While non-essential weight has also been relocated to the sole, which helps increase the launch angle. The D-100 driver is without a doubt one of Wilson's best drivers you can buy.
