What we say...

If you hate deep-face drivers, the shallow, wide head of the Wilson Staff Dd6+ should be right up your street.

We loved the powerful, piercing ball flight and the head felt solid at impact, but we couldn’t ignore how the driver looked a bit uninspiring.

The stats show a powerful performance, as you’d expect from a club Padraig Harrington has been experimenting with. But if we had to choose this, the Ping G5 or MacGregor Draw 460, we know which one we’d go for.

The Wilson Staff Dd6+ Driver is perfect for those seeking maximum distance and forgiveness with a higher ball flight with less spin.

Wilson Staff Drivers User Reviews

  • 4 out of 5 Short Grass!

I'm not used to playing off the short stuff on my second shot but certainly I've found more consistancy with the Db6+. Having gone from a old Big Bertha to the massive 460cc there is certainly more confidence in my drives but not sure if I'm getting as much extra distance as I expected (+10 yds maybe) by I am hitting better more ofter. When I bought this I tried out a few other 2007 drivers like the Nike Sumo and Ping G5 but this was the club I certainly got best results from. I also ended up with the Wilson Di7 irons (nice feel) and the fairway woods (made a massive difference) - maybe the salesman was on Wilson commision but I'm happy, they're making good kit now.
