They allow golfers to launch shots more easily and maintain longer carry distances despite having more loft than the standard versions. Classically pear-shaped and with the same ‘thin crown’ construction as the powerful VeloCT driver, they come in 3 MAX (18-degrees – a normal 3-wood is 15-degrees) and 5 MAX (21- degrees) options. For golfers who struggle to hit those high fl oaty fairway wood shots, these are a fantastic option; and for less than £80 each they’re not going to break the bank.
