What we say...

The Cleveland Launcher XL Halo is larger than its predeccesor with the most MOI (forgiveness) ever produced in one of the brand’s fairway woods.

The Launcher XL Halo fairways have a larger overall framework than the previous generation with extreme perimeter weighting and increased MOI for added forgiveness on every swing.

The 3-wood’s 3,338g-cm² MOI is the most ever produced by a Cleveland Golf fairway wood.

The new generation uses Gliderail technology, twin rails along the sole of the club, to helps deliver a square face at impact, while the new Rebound Frame club structure (also found in the XL driver) uses flex zones in the face and body, which work in sequence to help deliver more energy into the golf ball at impact for more speed and distance.

There’s a stepped crown design, which brings the height of the crown down, dropping the centre of gravity and raising the launch in the process.

The Cleveland Launcher XL Halo fairway wood comes in three lofts.

You’ll also find the ‘Action Mass CB’ introduced in the driver, with an eight-gram weight in the end of the grip providing counter-balancing.

Cleveland’s custom-fitting will also offer the Launcher XL fairways in a half-inch shorter version without the counter-balancing for players seeking the freedom to shape their shots.

Cleveland Launch XL Halo Fairway Woods: Key Technology

The Cleveland Launcher XL Halo fairway wood has an XL Head Design and Gliderail on the sole.

XL Head Design

The Launcher XL Halo Fairway Woods feature a larger head with extreme perimeter weighting (MOI of 3,338 g-cm² in the 3-wood), the most ever in a Cleveland Golf fairway wood.

Gliderail

Twin rails along the sole of the club help keep the face straight through impact for optimal ball striking off the tee or from the deck.

The Cleveland Launcher XL Halo fairway wood has a flex zone in the face to create more energy transfer into the ball.

Rebound Frame

A flex zone in the face and a second flex zone in the body of the club work in sequence to direct more impact energy into the golf ball, increasing ball speed and distance on every shot.

Action Mass CB

An 8g weight placed inside the end of the grip delivers better balance for more control without added effort.

HiBore Crown Step

The stepped crown shape brings the height of the crown down, dropping the center of gravity and raising the launch in the process.
