What we say...

It was incredibly tight at the top but Cobra just edged over the line as our 'Best on Test'.

Cobra clubs have been getting continually better in recent years and we're pretty confident these are their best fairway woods ever.

Why? Well, to start with, they've created a complete and intelligent range to suit all golfers. The tour inspired X Speed Pro model fits superfast ball speed players who are looking for a high-launching club that is still compact and versatile. The F Speed LD has a much larger, low-profile head and is fitted with a shaft to suit faster-than-average hitters and the M Speed LD has a similar design but for moderate swing speed players.

Our testers loved the shapely designes and lively graphics and there's no doubt Cobra clubs now possess a bit of cool factor to go with their game-improvement qualities.

There's even an offset version of the M Speed LD to help slower swingers square the face more easily, get the ball airborne and reduce that powersapping slice spin. This is a terrific range and is a worthy winner.

Cobra Fairway Woods User Reviews

  • 5 out of 5 Transformed my game!

As i am a tight yorklshireman i dont like paying full price for my gear but i had to make an exception for this club. The feel and sound of this in action is sweet. I was struggling with my driver so my PGA Pro recommended i try a 3 wood to gain some confidence, i tried a few out there including the TM burner but this baby helped my bring down my scores and after a week i had broken the 100 mark! I have gone on from strength to strength, this time next year i may not be ready for the tour but i know i will be going out with confidence and an excellent 3 wood!
