I played the game from the age of 7 to 14 and got rather good (or so I am told) but stopped playing for no apparent reason. I recently took up the game again and wanted to buy a new set of golf clubs. A friend of mine spoke to the Pro at his club and he recommended the Benross VeloCT combo irons. Due to the fact he offered a great deal on adriver, putter bag etc and having read several reviews I decided to part with my cash. I was not to be disappointed. The balance feels perfect to me and the build quality is excellent with an undercut cavity and generous sweet spot. I shot an 88 on my first round in 15 years... There are probably better clubs out there but for prices that cannot even compare to the VeloCT combo's. I would recommend these clubs to any beginner or even average players just wanting to improve their game and not spend a fortune. The VeloCT driver is spot on too!
