What we say...

Incorporating Fusion Technology, the superior weight-shifting science created by Callaway Golf, the new FT i-brid Irons set features three hybrid-like clubs designed to replace hard-to-hit long irons and game-improvement short irons, providing the ultimate in forgiveness and playability.

Advanced Fusion Technology
Mulit-material construction allows weight to be shifted for optimal performance. The lightweight titanium body allows for an oversized clubhead with increased offset for greater forgiveness and an increased effective hitting area. Heavy Tunite weighting in the sole creates a higher moment of inertia and better stability with a low, deep center of gravity. The TPU SenSert decreases vibration and delivers solid feel.

Super Game-improvement Mid and Short Irons
Designed for the ultimate in forgiveness in its oversized design with an increased offset, a large effective hitting area and a wide sole for exceptional turf interaction.

Fully Integrated Set Design
Seamless performance progression throughout the set provides consistent distance separation with optimal trajectories.

Modified Tru-Bore Design
An advanced version of the original Tru-Bore Design, the polycarbonate tip plug at the end of the shaft dampens vibration for enhanced feel and performance.

Callaway Irons User Reviews

  • 5 out of 5 The best investment you will ever make..

    By Eddie Collingham

Where can I start?  I have played golf for 5 weeks and started with a set of clubs handed down from a friend, and also having no idea what a golf club was or how to tell a good one apart from another.  I decided I loved golf and wanted to make a substantial investment in some clubs, and the Callaway FT i-Brids are truely amazing golf clubs. Its made a huge difference to hitting the ball straight and high, they are so forgiving even with my 5 week golf experience they have allowed me to drop 5 shots straight away! They are light swing weight (D0 - D2), with tungsten weights in the sole, they almost swing themselves. They're a bit bulky, but I like the look of them in the bag. The Hybrid like 3 4 and 5 irons make an easy change to using traditional long irons! I can get the ball high and far with the 3 iron, the head is slightly bowed due to the COG being further back than a standard 3 iron, this makes more of a hybrid club than an Iron, but still, fantastic.  Invest in a set of these.. they are highly priced, but they are brilliant.    Other irons used and tested = Cobra II S9, Callaway Big Bertha Fusion's, Slazenger Big Ezee, Taylormade SuperLaunch.
