What we say...
Cleveland's CG2 irons have a tiny-looking head compared to others on test. The small amount of offset adds to the intimidation factor of these golf clubs. Cleveland’s new CMM material used in the head should feel softer, but we found it just a little dull and dead at impact. Other irons felt crisper and more powerful.
Plenty of Tour players use these irons, but for us they failed to capture the imagination.
Cleveland's CG2 irons offer the forgiveness of a cavity back and the workability of a blade. Made from CMM metal, they have a soft and responsive feel at impact.
