What we say...

Before Cobra started employing the likes of Ian Poulter and Geoff Ogilvy as tour staff, the company weren’t too interested in making better player equipment. They focused on creating kit which performed in the hands of the club golfer. Lets just say things have changed a little since.

The CBs are Cobra’s stab at making a set of irons for the discerning decent golfer – and while they’ve got some rack appeal we can’t say they were our favourites.

They’re a perfectly good looking golf set, which performed okay. But from a set of premium irons golfers tend to expect a little more than these have to offer. The rounded heads and polished finish just aren’t as appealing as some and glare in strong sunlight.

Our golf shots lacked a bit of killer power and were less consistent so overall we’ve got to say they lag behind when competition’s as strong as this.
