Lynx Prowler Forged CB Irons Review: We say

Lynx certainly aren’t the first name that spring to mind when talking forged better player irons but for 2018 they’ve got a very solid line up. Our test pro was very impressed with the CBs gunmetal finish, likening it to some of the latest stealth wedges which have appeared on the market this year. The heads edges are very clean and defined and not rounded like some which gives a really crisp appearance. There’s absolutely no mention of any spring or fast face tech so it’s really impressive the Tour posted a ball speed right on the test average and carry distance a couple of yards above it. Our test pro reckoned feel and feedback were sound.

Everything you need to know about iron shaft weight. And why it’s now more important than flex.

Lynx Prowler Forged CB Irons Review: Verdict

A lovely, well put together iron from Lynx. It didn’t quite make our Top 10 better player irons for 2018 but that’s because we were so impressed with Lynx’s new VT iron. For anyone struggling to decide between the CB and Lynx’s VT, we reckon the CBs are more forgiving, but our test pro preferred the looks and head shaping of the VT.
