What we say...

Like the Mizuno MX200 irons, the MX100 set features the Y-Tune performance as well as an ultra pocket cavity design for the ultimate in iron forgiveness and ease of play.

The Mizuno MX100 irons benefit from a low and deep CG position, ensuring a soaring ball flight which is ideal for those of us who suffer to get the ball to stop on greens.

And as you’d expect from a game-improver iron, there is plenty of forgiveness on off-centre hits, making the game more enjoyable through better scoring.

2009 Review

Richard reckoned this is “an unassuming iron that not only looks the part but also gets the job done.” In terms of forgiveness these were as good as anything on test with the previously discussed Y Tune cavity pushing weight up into the toe area which means even your shockers aren’t too shocking. John, who has a low ball flight, loved the high launch qualities which give him more distance. These and the Mizuno MX200 irons, prove Mizuno don’t just do ‘players’ irons – they can do awesome forgiveness too.

The MX-100 combines Y-Tune performance with an ultra pocket cavity design for the ultimate in iron forgiveness and ease of play.

The re-engineered cavity pushes the MX-100's COG low and deep for a high ball flight, while a massive effective hitting area delivers unwavering stability on off centre strikes.

Y-Tune’s cavity pad rotates the MX-100's vast sweet area higher into the toe area to match the miss hit patterns of amateur golfers for staggering consistency.

Mizuno Irons User Reviews

  • 3 out of 5 MX-100

    By DelC

Bought these after struggling with some old blade clubs and deciding that I needed more 'forgiveness' . They are very easy to hit and the sand iron, wedge and short irons are gorgeous. I don't get much length from the mid and long irons because I think they send the ball up rather than forward. However they are very forgiving if you catch the ball a bit fat which is one of my faults. Shots that would have gone less far than the divot with my old clubs tend to still get to at least the front of the green with the MX-100s. I won the first competition I played with them BTW, if that is a recommendation. Good for higher handicappers.

  • 5 out of 5 20 shots off my round in 6 months!

What can i say about these, they're fantastic! I got a set 6 months ago, i had previously used Nike Pro combo (too good for me to use) and Cobra 3400IXH but i was all over the place. I read the review for these irons in the TG magazine and thought they looked the part and from the review they sounded perfect for me. Before i had the MX100's i would regularly shoot in the 120's (I had been playing for a year and had would have the occasional good round but nothing consistant). After 6 months now using the MX100's i'm regularly at the 100 mark and using these i've also broke the 100 mark several times and and playing better month upon month! Within another 6 months i can see me regularly breaking 90, if not better! I would highly reccomend these to a beginner, dont shell out on a cheap set, you wont see the results you want (you get what you pay for). These are a top quality brand and are truly Super game improvement irons!
