What we say...

The i701 irons were a mid-table performer in our test, and won some admirers for their shiny and attractive finish and design. The press-milled face increases spin control in rough and wet conditions, and a new sole design reduces turf drag from all lies. Decent performance and solid feel were plus points, but a slight lack of forgiveness in our test meant that Srixon’s offering fell a little short of the top scorers. However, these are a really good-looking, quality set of irons, which should do well with Srixon’s growing army of ball devotees.

I upgraded from game improvement irons to these after getting below a 20 handicap. They are a joy to hit, They are very forgiving for a forged club, the feeling off the face when you flush one is beautiful. I bought mine with dynamic gold s300, which I must say are a little too heavy for me, so maybe go for the nippon shafts if you have the option.
