What we say...

It might look like the TaylorMade entry in this category didn’t perform that well, but actually it just failed to fire in one category, dispersion. Our guys really struggled with this particular aspect, but they all found it forgiving and Alex and Craig
loved the feel off the clubhead. Craig also commented on the gorgeous, high ball flight the irons offered. Despite the disappointing dispersion number, the testers did like the forgiveness – illustrated by its terrific 4.3 rating.

The Burner Superlaunch irons were new for 2010 and feature a  new low-profile design for ease of play.

They are designed to be super easy to launch thanks to a deep undercut cavity and a low, deep centre of gravity. Progressive face thickness sees the faces in the longer irons made thinner giving a higher spring-like effect and increased ball speed while the shorter irons have thicker faces which helps to optimise feel.

They also feature TaylorMade's inverted cone technology which helps expand the area of the clubface that delivers fast ball speeds.

Speed is everything with the Superlaunch irons and therefore they include superfast technology which means they are lighter to deliver more power and, ultimately, longer shots whatever your swing speed.

The Taylormade Burner Superlaunch Irons are available in graphite at a cost of £599.

Purchased a set of Graphite Shafted Superlaunch Irons which are working superbly for me.  Only played  2 rounds so far and have broken 90 both times. Having broken 100 only once in the last year the results speak for themselves. A really forgiving club which gives bags of confidence. Also distance has improved considerably. Well worth the investment and I expect handicap will soon be reducing. Am happy to recommend these clubs, especially for high handicappers.
