  • 5 out of 5 Great Putter

I got this putter last year it is perfect for me. Great weight. I came across it by accident but it has made a great difference to my game.

  • 5 out of 5 One of the great bargains in putters

This type of putter is usually called a #9 after the Odyssey range, including the Tour Black #9. Other good examples are the Scotty Cameron Del Mar, the Rife Abaco, TaylorMade Rossa Maranello, Mizuno MP T-102 and in particular the Cleveland Classic 2, which is one of the other great bargains in putters. This Classic 2 is smooth and soft to hit and very close to the Killarney, but the Killarney scores in being 10g heavier overall and made from a 100% solid milled block, where the Classic is cast with a milled face.  You can't go wrong with either of these two if you like this shape. I personally do and this has helped my putting a lot. Going from a blade or Anser type you change from lining the head up at 90 degrees to the target to lining up straight to the target along the sight line, and this can be a simple way of getting a more accurate line. This type of head is great for left eye dominant players - small offset and a clear view of the putter face. Right eye dominants tend to like the plumbers neck of the Anser and others. The heel shaft takes a little time to get used to but once you have it really works and produces results. If you like this shape, this quality milled putter is a no brainer. Strongly recommended.

  • 2 out of 5 Poor putter

I found that this putter was alright when I used it first but then it messed up my game. It is quite heavy and I like light clubs but If you like a nice firm putter, this is probably more 4 u.
