What we say...
A smaller sized mallet head with double cavity back and CNC Milled face for excellent feel and great low skid roll.
Quite a small and stubby mallet from the guys at MD Golf. All testers felt the head was a bit intimidating, feeling it probably wasn’t quite big enough for the majority of everyday golfers. Putting looks aside we all putted pretty solidly with the moderate toe hang design, meaning that it would suit a wide audience of golfers and stroke types. The long single sight line and centre bar will help some with alignment but generally we just weren’t inspired by the #7. Successful putting is all about confidence and if your not inspired by your flatstick you’re going to struggle to be the boss on the moss.
Not our favourite putter, that’s not to say there’s anything wrong with it, we all just struggled to warm to its quirky shape and design.
