Odyssey Works Fusion RX V-line Review

The Tech:

A Fusion RX insert blends feel with true roll technology to get putts rolling quicker. A “Big T” alignment aid helps to not only aim squarely at the hole but also track your stroke. A Tour proven head shape is symmetrically shaped to further aid alignment.    

Our verdict:

We reckon the V-Line is a very good head shape, it’s a bit wider than most of the other mallets on test which really helps with consistency on putts that don’t hit the centre of the face. We also really liked how the Versa alignment system helps you realise where you’re actually aiming and naturally highlights the correct path away from the ball at address. Odyssey’s engineers spend hours pouring over insert materials and for us they’ve hit the jackpot for UK greens by combining a metal mesh over a softer White Hot inner on the RX. 

Bottom line:

A really solid putter for lots of golfers, if you can’t putt well with one of these you are seriously struggling. The option of a SuperStroke or standard grip just proves how popular oversized grips have become.
