What we say...

Technology
Scottsdale TR putters are named for the ‘true roll’ they provide as the result of PING’s innovative new variable-depth-groove technology. Grooves are deepest in the center and get gradually shallower toward the perimeter to equalize ball speeds for exceptional distance control on putts struck on the center, heel or toe. Adjustable-length shafts help optimize performance, and 12 models fit every stroke type.

Tested
As reviewed in our 2014 Putters TestDesigned to suit a stronger arc with almost full toe hang. It has a nice clean finish with decent roll. Performed well but nothing outstanding. It’s difficult to feel like you mis-strike one. Basic design, but effective, feels premium. Sound was quite loud and unusual.

As reviewed in our 2013 Putters Test: James immediately commented on a heavy feel, but he liked the darker finish on the crown. Joel liked the single alignment line, and started the ball surprisingly straight given the fact it was a face balanced putter. Ben was confident with it, and liked the somewhat clunky sound, but would prefer less offset. Dave wasn’t keen on the size, saying it was a bit too big, but liked the white alignment lines on the darker finish.
