Tech: The 45º toe hang will suit an arcing stroke. The machine-milled face reduces skid and boosts consistency.

● MP This looks like a kid’s club. Feel wasn’t good at all but the results were consistent. Felt awkward to line up.

● JC You could probably get a lot of rubbish stuck in the back there. But weirdly it was quite consistent; it just didn’t sound that nice and looks plasticky.

● JCox This looks plastic, but performance-wise was one of my most consistent. Impact was a little harsher than some, but I grouped the balls well.

● DL I seemed to get a strange noise out of it every now and again, and I didn’t care for the looks. A better performer than its cosmetics suggest.
