What we say...
Tour Edge T Line
This one is always going to be a love-it-or-hate it putter. We tried it and were moving towards the love-it end of the spectrum. The soft, sweet feel when you hit a putt from the centre of the blade is amazing which was a surprise to both of us. We seemed to disagree a little about how effective the club would be for someone not swinging the putter consistently. The shaft joins the head at the back of the putter flange, therefore any twisting of the hands during the stroke exaggerates the twisting of the face. There are only two small alignment aid which, compared to others on test, is minimal but this is a design all of its own and once you feel the pure strike off the face you may forgive its few shortcomings.
Verdict: You really need to see and try this one and make up your own mind as something this radical, which we love, is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. But after trying it, you could be pleasantly surprised.
