Wilson Golf extended its award-winning Infinite putter line-up with the launch of the Buckingham mallet.
The putter continues the tradition of being named after landmarks and neighbourhoods in the brand’s home city of Chicago.

The Buckingham features a futuristic mallet style head shape with a high MOI. The standard loft sits at 3.0 with a 71.00 lie angle and a 34” standard length.
As with all the Infinite ptters in the range, the Buckingham features Counterbalance Technology, which combines a heavier head and grip weights, moving the balance point closer to the hands for a smoother and more controlled putting stroke.

The grip includes an oversize design construction to provide a stable feel and limits rotation during stroke. The heavy grip (104 grams) helps create the counter-balanced putter feel.
The Infinite line also features a black anti-glare finish to accentuate the sight lines that have been stripped back to improve alignment at address.
The Double-Milled Face that promotes consistent impact, roll and distance control also features the famous Wilson Staff shield in the striking, modern appearance.

“The Buckingham is an excellent addition to the Infinite line-up which has proved very popular amongst golfers with plenty of options to choose from between blade and mallet models,” said Lee Farrar, Head of Wilson Golf in the UK and Ireland.
The Buckingham is the ninth putter in the Infinite line-up, which also includes the Windy City, West Loop and Michigan Avenue blade options; the Grant Park half-moon mallet style; and The ‘L’, South Side, Bucktown and The Bean full mallets.
All headcovers carry the distinctive Infinite branding with standout attention to detail highlighted in the brand’s traditional Red and Black colourway.
The women's version incorporates a trendy glacier blue and white-coloured option, with specifications and characteristics designed to fit female golfer.
Verdict: Wilson Infinite Buckingham putter
Good value for money putters can be tough to find nowadays, but we like highlighting decent budget buys, as we completely understand not everyone wants to blow several hundred pounds on a new putter. Wilson’s Infinite is a family that’s stood out for a few years now.
You don’t get a hosel choice, changeable weight set-ups, a CNC Milled head or a soft face insert but the Buckingham is still a strong modern MOI putter choice for sensible money. For us the feel, feedback and sound are decent. If you’re drawn to the model make sure the strong toe hang, which is unusual in the category suits your stroke (strong arc), or you like the feeling of releasing the putter head through impact.
The Infinite family runs to eight models, so should you find yourself wanting a more traditionally shaped blade or mallet the brand has other decent options.
