What we say...

Wilson KC IV

With changeable weights in both head and grip and three different options for alignment aids (chevron, straight lines and circles), the Wilson offers plenty of customisation options. Although the putter looks good and has no immediate flaws it just doesn’t have the ‘wow’ factor that other putters have – it feels solid but unexceptional. The good thing about the putter is that it is very easy to align squarely at the hole, and we did feel that we kept our putts in quite a tight area surrounding the hole. Wilson plan to have 100 fitting centres within the UK to customise these putters for you in-store which, really is a great service. If you don’t like a mallet putter there are a further three designs on offer from the Wilson Staff range.

Verdict: If you like being able to play around with the set-up of your clubs you will love the Wilson. We didn’t feel that it inspired as much confidence as some of the others on test but was a good solid putter.

Takes a while to try all the weight combinations, but once i got this baby set up and feeling right I loved it. It is so easy to use and is great for golfers with a good pendulum putting stroke. The weight can be adjusted to suit the greens you're playing. So you don't need to change your stroke just the weight. (not during a round though, obviously!)Also it is soooo easy to line up especially with the paralell lines insert. (not shown)A truely great putter I can't believe we haven't seen or heard more of it. I managed to find mine second hand too for £65!!!! I will never change it.
