Lovely Natalie!
There's two stages to my review of this putter. The first bit runs for just over a year and the latter part for the last two months. I bought this off the shelf in Dundee as I was having a nightmare trying to line up my Ping CU5 (that I'd had for years and years). I had just seemed to have lost the ability to line it properly and the greens at Carnoustie are no the place to do that! I was so disenchanted with it that, after a disastrous putting round, I went out and bought the Natalie. There wasn't anything particularly scientific about my purchase. I just went into the shop looking for a putter that would help with my alignment and settled on the Natalie. Sure enough the big white line down the middle did the trick and my putting problems were over. They were going where I intended them and there was a lovely roll on the ball too. I then didn't play much golf for some months before getting back to it in September last year and I started to struggle with Natalie over the winter. Alignment was fine but distance control was poor. Initially, I put it down to the fact that it is a much lighter putter than my CU5 and, on winter greens, that lightness was hindering my putting. This got as far as my seriously considering going back to my CU5. Instead, I had a putting lesson with a local pro. There wasn't much wrong with my stroke (just a few minor tweaks) but he spotted that the putter wasn't upright enough for my stroke. This meant that I wasn't hitting it consistently out of the middle which was affecting my distance control. So he adjusted the putter (posh way of saying he put it in a vice and bent it) to suit my stroke and bingo! The ball was coming off the face beautifully and rolling nicely. I am extremely happy with Natalie now. It is a very good putter that puts an excellent roll on the ball and whose design really helps you line your ball up on target. My only advice would be to get it fitted properly to really get the best out of it. Mine ended up being adjusted 2.5 degrees upright and it made a world of difference.
