What we say...

‘To set free’ is one meaning of the word rescue in the dictionary. And that’s exactly what we reckon the King Cobra Baffler DWS can do for your long iron game. If, like most golfers, you struggle to hit crisp 3 and 4-irons from tee, fairway or light rough, then this golf club has the ability to set your game alight from 200 yards in.

Cobra built its name making equipment for club golfers, and the Baffler has everything everyday golfers need – hence it has picked up our gold award. It enabled us to sweep shots away off fairways and hit soaring approaches that would spin and stop like no long iron we’ve ever hit.

Throw in improved consistency and, suddenly, it’s possible to have fun and enjoy experimenting hitting different types of golf shots. Digging balls out of long rough and hitting cracking recovery golf shots from fairway bunkers is all stuff the Baffler also has up its sleeve. And let’s not forget that it combines plenty of raw power with forgiveness, something that’s proven by the statistics from our test pro.

Complete with the Dual Weighting System, has a hotter nine-points clubface, with greater flex across the face for superior distance and accuracy.

  • 5 out of 5 get out of jail club

I've got a 20 and 23 degree one of these and they are so useful. Off the tee, fairway or out of the rough, a real life saver.

I bought the 18 degree version and its got me out of jail numerous times when I hit a poor tee shot(24hc). Good off the tee as well...

  • 5 out of 5 Oh yes.

Many a summers day my 3 and 4 irom could be seen gleaming from my bag, never used, never soiled, a mystery. I bought the 20 and 23 degree DWS and it has bought a new weapon to my armoury. I am not the biggest hitter and woithout long irons I was struggling. Its an excellent club, looks good at the address and create an excellent sound on impact be it tee, fairway or rough. Even I have managed 180+ yards with it from the deck. Well pleased with them. Does any one want to buy my 3 and 4 iron?

  • 5 out of 5 Wow!!

Tried it on the range and was serioulsy impressed. Used it for 3 rounds and now I'm the most confident I have ever been at turning a half decent drive into a scoring opportunity, and when the drive is less than decent, I've not hit a better club from wet rough. Flies high, long and accurate and works miracles for overall confidence. I got the 26deg and it flys my G5 22deg easily! Try one.
