What we say...

has just launched these HEX fairway and rescue woods.

Following on from the HEX driver, the new clubs share the same design characteristics and features.

The HEX woods feature a unique hexagonal shape that allows optimum weight distribution to reduce the effect of side spin and provide more energy transfer from club face to ball.

HiPPO’s Integrated Technology marries ultra light woven 3K carbon fibre radius side rails to stainless steel body and a maraging face allowing the thinnest face possible for maximum COR and distance.

The unique head shape allows for increased additional weight distribution at the rear corners to provide an extremely high Moment of Inertia (MOI) and help stabilise the club head on miss hits, ensuring straighter shots for virtually any lie.

The HEX is powered by HiPPO’s CP4 proprietary shaft utilising state of the art Quad pured technology and Mitsubishi Rayon with high modulus graphite fibre.  It is available in right-hand only with stiff and regular flexes in 3 and 5 woods plus 21* and 24* rescue wood loft options.

With an MSRP of £59.99 for the fairway woods and £49.99 for the rescue woods, the HEX provides golfers with a high performance club at incredible value.

The HEX woods will be available in the UK in August 2007.

  • 5 out of 5 Hex Rescue Wood

One excellent club! Flies at a beautful flight (mine's the 24 degree) and the key thing is it easily gets you out of any lie! All very helpful when your drive isn't as straight as it could be! Well worth a try, especially at this price!

i recently went into my local shop to try out rescue/utility clubs. I had found my favourite and was ready to buy but the pro handed me one last club the hex. I looked at the club and the price tag then laughed. To my surprise it satisfied the low handicapper! I didn't purchase it but it was a close second.
