Shock Wave sole enhances energy transfer by allowing the whole head to expand and contract. Waffle crown uses a lattice design to save weight, helping lower CG for easy launch and better performance on strikes low in the face.

A strong-looking hybrid in a rich blue that will divide opinion. Personally I wasn’t sold. With the stiff shaft this felt like a better-player set-up, relatively heavy and stable, and hard to hit left. All round, a good option.

The club sets up square with the head edging towards fairway wood shape. The small white marks on the crown heel and toe almost look like scratches. But overall a solid performer, and good from all lies.
