What we say...

Our test pro struggled with the Ping Rapture Hybrid, but we absolutely loved it. The improvements Ping has made over the G5 hybrid are all noticeable, particularly the reduction in offset.

Shots zing off the super-springy clubface with real venom and power. While the heavy tungsten sole works brilliantly at digging shots out of divots and nasty lies, it is just as useful at clipping shots off bare lies.

Ping’s Rapture range encompasses more technology than the G5 family, hence the extra cost. But if you are looking for a top-performing rescue golf club and don’t mind paying for it, we suggest you give the Rapture a try. It will perform admirably in the hands of the average golfer.

A thin super-steel face provides a hot, responsive hitting area. The heavy sole weight concentrates mass low and deep in the head increasing launch angle for softer landing shots.

Ping Rescue Clubs User Reviews

  • 4 out of 5 PRICEY -- BUT VERY GOOD

This rescue club is very - very good. Off the Tee, Sand, Rough or even fairway. Nice high - soft landing shots are made easy. Great shaft options too. I opted for Aldila VS Proto, and it is SUPERB. Finally found the perfect 3 iron replacement, no need to struggle anymore. Only other rescue I considered close to this , is the MUCH CHEAPER priced BENROSS models, great value. If you shop around you may pick one up, like I did, for under £130.00

tried along with a cobra baffler, md golf eql, taylormade burner and found this to be the least forgiving, hooking and slicing whreas the md went straight 8/10 and furthest by 10 yards
