What we say...

One of the best-feeling clubs on test. Constructed from 1020 carbon steel, every shot-type felt silky smooth and the X-Forged wowed our judges in the control stakes too. The C-grind sole, designed with input from the Tour pros, will appeal to better players as the leading edge sits close to the ground and is great for opening up the face on those impressive flop shots.

Jon thought the club would suit the better players and those who like a slightly smaller head, while Dan rated this as his second favourite. On three models (52°, 54° and 60°), the X-Forged benefits from ‘mack daddy’ grooves – great for extra spin. A chrome model is £10 more.

    fantastic feel on short little chip shots around the greens, opening club face is very easy,,, easy to get the ball up in the air , stopping with spin is impressive too,,, rusting away nicely too...
