What we say...

Technology
ECCO's 2014 collection is spearheaded by the Street EVO One. The range boasts 11 new styles available in a wide range of new colours showcased by its Tour players, including Graeme McDowell and Ernie Els. It is the latest incarnation of the original Street and features ECCO’s 'Dynamic Traction System' (E-DTS) made of TPU – a highly durable, wear-resistant sole material which features 100 moulded bars and 800 traction angles to create the grip. The uppers are made of Hydromax treated leather. It’s built with low profile design to increase stability and is slightly wider near the heel.

Tested
As reviewed in our 2014 Shoes Test:
They look like a squash shoe from the 80s but offer a surprisingly good level of grip. The upper feels quite padded, and the fit is not too roomy or tight. There’s not a great deal of padding underfoot but the feel around the top and sides of the foot is one of comfort. The firm, flat and wide base offers stability and the design is modern but not too garish – will appeal to a range of ages.
