What’s in the bag of Sergio Garcia, the Masters champion and Ryder Cup stalwart.
Sergio Garcia, the all-time leading European Ryder Cup points scorer, has returned to TaylorMade for his golf clubs and ball after a period with Callaway and as an equipment free agent.
The prodigal Spaniard, who has 16 wins on the European Tour and 11 on the PGA Tour, rejoined TaylorMade in May 2021.
"I’d been part of the TaylorMade family for 15 years before parting at end of 2017," the 41-year-old said. "It’s where I’ve been the most comfortable and where I’ve had the most confidence, and it’s where I played my best golf. I love the equipment but also the people that work there, so it was a simple decision."
Even during his period as an equipment free agent Garcia's bag was mostly made up of TaylorMade clubs and he's always been a very vocal fan of the TP5x golf ball.
Barring two Titleist Vokey wedges, Garcia's entire bag is made up of TaylorMade clubs after her recently switched out the Scotty Cameron Phantom X 11.5. He has been using the TaylorMade TP Bandon 1 but did have the TaylorMade Spider X Hydro Blast in play during the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
