What’s In The Bag: Tiger Woods’ mixes TaylorMade, Scotty Cameron and Bridgestone for 2024 equipment

What golf clubs does Tiger Woods use? We delve into the 15-time Major champion’s bag and look closer at his new Sun Day Red wardrobe for 2024.

Tiger Woods is the greatest golfer of his generation, if not of all time. We’ll save the Tiger vs. Jack Nicklaus debate for another time, but the fact is that Woods’ impact on the game of golf is unmatched. We make no apologies for placing him at number one in our ranking of the most influential people in golf, even in the twilight of his career where his competitive appearances are severely limited due to previous and ongoing injuries.

Today's Golfer What's In The Bag is brought to you in association with Callaway Chrome Tour and Chrome Tour X golf balls.

Given his stardom, the golf clubs, apparel, and other equipment used by Tiger Woods have always been of great interest. He’s probably best known for using Nike clubs and a Scotty Cameron putter, but Woods’ gear has changed a lot throughout his long career. At different times he’s used a Cobra driver, Mizuno irons, Cleveland wedges, a Ping putter, Titleist irons, TaylorMade everything, Titleist woods, Bridgestone balls, and much more.

But what golf clubs is Tiger Woods using right now? Let’s take a look.

Today’s Golfer’s ‘What’s In The Bag’ insight is brought to you in association with Fujikura.

What driver does Tiger Woods use?

Tiger Woods uses a TaylorMade Qi10 LS driver with Graphite Design Tour AD VF 6 TX shaft.

TaylorMade's new 2024 driver
The fact that Woods' previous driver was the TaylorMade Stealth Plus is a sign of how little golf he's played lately, as he bypassed the Stealth 2 range altogether.

He switched to the TaylorMade Qi10 at the Hero World Challenge he hosts in the Bahamas, opting for the low-spin Qi10 LS model also used by Rory McIlroy. The Qi10 is TaylorMade's new driver for 2024.

The Qi10 LS is the only driver in the family that comes decked out with a movable sole weight (18g), a useful feature in helping tour pros and elite players dial in shot shape. An MOI of 7600 g/cmis very similar to the previous Stealth 2 Plus, but a lower CG projection helps reduce spin for additional distance. Removal of the weight track in the heel improves aerodynamic performance, and a clever fixed screw construction frees up additional mass over preceding models.

What 3-wood does Tiger Woods use?

Tiger Woods uses a TaylorMade Qi10 Tour 3-wood with an AD-VF 6X shaft.

Tiger Woods was seen testing the new TaylorMade Qi10 Tour fairway wood ahead of The Genesis Invitational alongside his trusty TaylorMade SIM 3-wood, in the bag also.

The TaylorMade Qi10 Tour fairway woods has a titanium chassis to maximize ball speed and increase forgiveness from a small, compact head shape. Essentially the Qi10 Tour is three fairway woods in one. A 50g sliding steel sole weight can be positioned forward, centrally, or towards the back, creating the spin and launch conditions of either a strong loft Rocket 3, typical 3 wood, or High Launch 3 all from the same head.

What 5-wood does Tiger Woods use?

Tiger Woods uses a TaylorMade M3 5-wood (19° loft set @ 18.25°) with a Mitsubishi Diamana D+ Limited 80 TX shaft.

Fairway woods are often a part of the bag where tour pros opt to stay with a tried and tested 'old faithful' rather than upgrading to the latest models each year, and Tiger Woods has seen no reason to replace the TaylorMade M3 which launched more than five years ago.

The TaylorMade M3 sits alongside the more mass-market M4 and is the model aimed at better players, with a smaller head and more shot-shaping potential.

What irons does Tiger Woods use?

Tiger Woods uses a TaylorMade P770 3-iron and TaylorMade P7TW irons (4-PW) with True Temper Dynamic Golf Tour Issue X100 shafts.

TaylorMade created the P7TW irons with Tiger's help, with each head being "meticulously shaped to meet Tiger's discerning eye - longer blade length, thinner topline, progressive face height, and more," according to the brand.

Woods occasionally carries a hybrid, but when he opts for a long iron or two instead, he goes for the TaylorMade P770, which is slightly larger and more forgiving than the P7TW.

What wedges does Tiger Woods use?

Tiger Woods uses TaylorMade MG4 Raw wedges in 56° and 60° lofts, both with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts.

When you're golf's biggest star, you don't just get your pick of wedge grinds, you get a grind specially designed for you. The 56° wedge is a dual sole with heavy heel relief, while the 60° has an extremely high bounce on the leading edge with a shaved heel. This makes it possible to open the face for flop shots, while still providing relief on the leading edge for better performance on tight lies. Designed for ultimate versatility, this setup allows Tiger to take on any shot, on any course, anywhere in the world.

What putter does Tiger Woods use?

Tiger Woods uses a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS Prototype putter.

Although he has occasionally toyed with other models – even using a mallet at one point – Tiger's famous old Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS putter has been in the bag for the majority of his career. He's had a few throughout the years, with some going on to fetch six figures at auction.

What golf ball does Tiger Woods use?

Tiger Woods uses the Bridgestone Tour B X golf ball.

Tiger has typically used the softer version of whatever model golf ball he's playing (think Titleist Pro V1 over Pro V1x) and was using the Bridgestone Tour B XS – they even had a special edition available with 'Tiger' stamped on – but in more recent times he's switched to the firmer feeling Bridgestone Tour B X. He found he was gaining a good amount of carry distance with his driver, which prompted the switch.

What golf shoes does Tiger Woods wear?

Tiger Woods is wearing Sun Day Red golf shoes.

Tiger took to the course ahead of his Genesis Invitational return in a never before seen pair of Sun Day Red golf shoes from his new brand in partnership with TaylorMade.

Tiger Woods has worn Nike golf shoes for most of his career; he had a long-term apparel deal with the brand and there have been numerous limited edition Nike Tiger Woods golf shoes released. He switched into FootJoy shoes in 2022 as he felt the brand was best placed to support his recovery following his accident and subsequent surgery.

What clothing does Tiger Woods wear?

Tiger Woods wears Sun Day Red golf apparel.

Tiger famously wore Nike for most of his career to date, before splitting with the brand in January 2024. After weeks of speculation about which brand he'd sign with next, he unveiled his own clothing brand, 'Sun Day Red', created in partnership with his club sponsor TaylorMade.

The Sun Day Red logo depicts a tiger jumping, replacing the 'TW' logo Woods had on his Nike gear.

Sundayred.com "promises to bring a new and elevated standard to performance wear and luxury lifestyle fashion".
