Best golf ball deals

We’ve scoured the internet to find the best golf ball deals available.
The best golf balls don’t come cheap. Many of the best tour golf balls have a RRP of over £50 per dozen, which works out at more than £4 per ball. At that price, it hurts when you lose a ball or one gets scuffed during play.
The good news is that you can get some really good golf ball deals if you shop around, halving your golf ball costs without sacrificing anything in terms of performance.
And the even better news is that we’ve done the shopping around for you and found the best golf ball deals available right now.
GOLF BALL DEAL 1: Get four boxes for the price of three on the best golf balls in the game
Golf balls don’t come much better than the TaylorMade TP5 (and TP5x) or the Titleist Pro V1 (and Pro V1x). They’re the most widely used golf balls on tour and the preferred choice of many discerning amateur golfers. The only drawback is the price, as you can easily pay £50 or more for a dozen.
Fortunately, to soften the blow, Titleist and TaylorMade both run a “loyalty rewarded” programme at the beginning of each golf season, meaning you can get four boxes of their leading golf balls for the price of three. You also get free personalisation as part of the deal.
The Titleist deal applies to Titleist Pro V1, Pro V1x and AVX, while the TaylorMade offer applies to the TaylorMade TP5 and TP5x.

Best price Titleist Pro V1 and Titleist Pro V1x
You can get the Titleist 4-for-3 deal direct from their own website, but they’re £48 per dozen there, meaning you’ll pay £144 for four boxes. Third-party retailers tend to have better prices, and still offer the 4-for-3 promotion, so that’s your best bet.
The best price we have found for the Titleist Pro V1 (and Pro V1x) is £125.97 for four boxes, which works out at £31.49 per dozen. Compared to the £52 per dozen you are likely to pay in a pro shop, that brings the cost per ball down from £4.33 to £2.62, which is a decent saving.

Best price TaylorMade TP5 and TaylorMade TP5x
We have found the TaylorMade TP5 and TP5x golf balls slightly cheaper than the Titleist, at £119.97 for four dozen, which works out at £29.99 per box. To get arguably the best golf ball available at a price you’d normally pay for a mid-range ball is a fantastic deal, meaning you’re paying just £2.50 per ball.

GOLF BALL DEAL 2: Get tour-caliber golf balls for £22.99
The Mizuno MP-X and MP-S golf balls offer performance to match any of the leading tour golf balls, but are currently available for the bargain price of just £22.99. That’s because they have been replaced by Mizuno’s new tour golf ball, the Mizuno RB Tour.
But the Mizuno MP model is still a great golf ball and if you’re not worried about playing a slightly older model, it constitutes a fantastic deal. The Mizuno MP ball had an RRP of £49.99, so £22.99 for a box constitutes great value.
The only problem is that the ball has been discontinued, which means stock will be limited. So, if you try them and fall in love, be sure to stock up quickly before they sell out once and for all.

GOLF BALL DEAL 3: Get the golf ball Tiger Woods used to win the Masters for £24.99
Like the Mizuno, the Bridgestone Tour B XS ball has also been superseded by a newer model (the Bridgestone Tour B, in this case), but that doesn’t suddenly mean the old model is no good. And it does mean the price of the previous golf ball has dropped dramatically.
The Bridgestone 2019 Tour B XS had an RRP of £42.99 last year, but is now available for just £24.99. It’s the exact model of golf ball Tiger Woods used to win the 2019 Masters. In fact, for £27.99, you can buy Bridgestone Tour B XS Tiger Woods Edition golf balls.
We’d go for the standard Bridgestone Tour B XS for £24.99, which works out at just £2.08 per ball. For a golf ball that won the Masters and offers fantastic performance, that constitutes an excellent deal.

GOLF BALL DEAL 4: Callaway ChromeSoft TruVis for £23.99
The Callaway ChromeSoft is a great golf ball and very popular among amateurs, many of whom also like the TruVis design which inspires confidence and offers increased feedback on chip shots and putts.
The Callaway ChromeSoft TruVis is available in a choice of colours for just £23.99 at the moment, a worthwhile saving compared to the standard price of £39.99.

GOLF BALL DEAL 5: Snell’s tour golf balls for £2.22 per ball
Snell only sell their golf balls direct to the consumer. They say this saves them on myriad retail costs, which they can pass on to the consumer with reduced prices. That’s why a box of the best Snell golf balls – the Snell MTB Black and MTB-X – is just £29.99, compared to closer to £50 for the equivalent ball from a leading brand.
If you’re willing to buy in bulk, the prices get even better.
You can get six boxes of the Snell MTB Black or Snell MTB-X for £159.99, which is £26.67 per box, £2.22 per ball.

GOLF BALL DEAL 6: Vice golf balls for £1.79 per ball
Vice Golf use the same distribution model as Snell, again offering premium performance at a more reasonable price.
The best Vice Golf balls – the Vice Pro (think Titleist Pro V1 equivalent) and Vice Pro Plus (Titleist Pro V1x) – are £2.49 per ball if you order one or two boxes, but the price per ball drops as you increase in volume. Order five boxes or more and you’ll pay just £1.79 per ball, which is £21.48 per dozen.
You simply won’t find a better current-model golf ball for that price.
