Ping G20 Hybrid

Many golfers will argue that the introduction of a hybrid in favour of a long iron has changed their game beyond all recognition, and PING’s new G20 hybrid will certainly appeal to those who struggle for consistency with their three and 4-iron.

The beauty of the new G20 club is that is so ridiculously-versatile – golfers of all abilities will be able to use it from a plethora of lies, and also off the tee.

It does look reasonably similar to the G15 model, but there have been some subtle changes and improvements to this year’s club.

The flatter lie angle and softer crown shape produces a high-launching, soft-landing ball flight which will give golfers the confidence to attack greens from afar.

It may not be the best-looking hybrid on the market, but it’s very forgiving and easy to use.

PING engineer Brad Schweigert is a huge fan of this club – here’s what he had to say about it.

INFORMATION: The fairway wood will retail at £139 and for more details please visit www.ping.com
