The Prestigious Moor Park Golf Club has just completed four years of bunker work on both of their Harry Colt designed golf courses. This includes a number of holes being updated, making both the High and West courses even more challenging. The work was undertaken by Grassform Ltd In conjunction with our own team managed by Stuart Bertram following consultation with Dr Martin Hawtree our retained golf course architect.
Lawrence Farmer, the club professional, who coaches the Curtis Cup Team, is on hand to conduct golf clinics – particularly on bunkers! Golfers Packs, event prizes and event management of your day can also be arranged.
In 1994, the members purchased Moor Park Mansion and the two golf courses from Three Rivers District Council. Since that time, working closely with English Heritage, this unique and historic building has been restored to its former glory. This includes the restoration of the famous paintings, the upgrading and redecoration of the impressive function and meeting rooms, including the original Orangery a self contained suite which includes a Main room to hold 80 for a golf lunch or dinner, and adjoining reception room. Perfect for a memorable Corporate Golf Day.
The facilities are supported by a professional friendly service team who are on hand to support all your needs. The food is of the highest standard and can be tailored to individual requirements. The new look ‘Moor Park’ is depicted in the recently rebranded literature.
Moor Park is now ready to reveal itself to the outside world. It is well located just off junction 18 of the M25. The Platinum daily delegate rate of £57.50 inc vat includes Main room, 3 refreshment breaks, enhanced hot/cold buffet lunch, screen, flipchart, stationery – folder, paper, name card, pen – cordial and water. 9 holes of golf can be played after 4pm (special rate will apply).
