Eddie Bullock, who oversaw numerous major professional tournaments at Woburn Golf Club where he served as managing director for  nine years, brings a wide range of skills and experience to his new role at the award-winning historic 36 hole resort.

At Woburn he supervised the three famous classic courses – the  Duke’s, the  Duchess and the Marquess which were all rated among the top 100 Best Courses in the UK.

He is delighted to joining the executive team and commented: “Goodwood has an incredible sporting dynasty including two outstanding golf courses and I am thrilled to bring my experience in the golf industry to one of the best resorts in the UK”.

In the boardroom at Woburn he was equally effective, developing a fine rapport with Ryder Cup star Ian Poulter who represented the complex at international tournaments for a number of years. He also serves as a trustee of the Golf Foundation which introduces youngsters to the game and has recently been nominated as  Captain-designate of  the Professional Golfers Association for the 2011-2013 period.
