April will see the completion of the golf course developments at the Manor House and Ashbury Golf Hotels situated on the foothills of Dartmoor, West Devon .
The venue will soon boast four eighteen hole courses – the Kigbeare (6464 yards), Beeches (5726 yards), Oakwood (5400 yards) and Willows (2018 yards par 3 course).
There will also be a 27 hole combination course: Pines 6400 yards, Forest 6140 yards and Ashbury 5827 yards. The combination course will be used to maximise tee times during peak periods of the day.
This will have the effect of giving golfers the choice of seven 18 hole courses to choose from, making it one of the largest golf complexes in the country.
All guests are entitled to 27 holes of golf per night of stay – FREE OF CHARGE.
The practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping and putting area and a practice hole.
The extensive golfing facilities are complemented by a wide range of sport and leisure facilities. These include a snooker hall with 15 tables, 4 lanes of ten-pin bowling, indoor heated swimming pool with 2 saunas and spa baths, exercise room, air rifle/pistol and archery ranges. There is also a multi-purpose sports hall which is used for badminton/short tennis, 5-a-side football and basketball.
All packages are taken on a full board basis and with an option to stay for 2,3 or 4 nights over a weekend or 3, 4 or 5 nights midweek the Manor House and Ashbury Hotels are the perfect venue for a short break in the West Country.
