Victoria all set for Portugal Masters

Oceânico is delighted to announce the return of the European Tour’s Portugal Masters to the stunning Victoria Golf Course for the third year running.

The course has been undergoing final preparations in order to fully test golf’s elite who are always rich in praise for the Arnold Palmer design.

The 6,700 yard, par 72 has recently won the “Best Course in Portugal Award” by Publituris, Portugal’s prestigious weekly tourism and hospitality newspaper, and has been a firm favourite on the Vilamoura golf circuit.

“We always enjoy welcoming the European Tour to the Oceânico Victoria Course. It is one of our flagship courses and is always presented immaculately. Hosting the Portugal Masters is a great thrill for us and part of our overall strategy committing to golf at every level,” commented Simon Burgess, Director of The Oceânico Group.

The Oceânico Group will also see its strong contingent of ambassadors descend on the Algarve in what some regard as almost a home fixture.

The likes of Darren Clarke, the Oceânico Golf touring professional, Lee Westwood and Padraig Harrington are all property ambassadors to the Oceânico Group owning properties at either the luxurious Amendoeira Golf Resort or the Golf & Garden Resort in Vilamoura.

“This is a great spot to come and visit. Whether to just relax around the pool or beach or on a golf trip you have everything you need.

“It is definitely like a home away from home for me and the fact that we have one of our European events here is great for us and a great way for Oceânico to showcase their amazing portfolio of courses,” commented Daren Clarke.
