Welcome to TG’s Hole-in-One Club

Today’s Golfer is paying homage to golfers scoring an ace by forming a brand new Hole-in-One Club.

The TG Hole-in-One Club idea came about following the feature in the latest issue of Today’s Golfer in which four amateur golfers made a bold bid for ace glory on the superb par-3 15th hole on the Ocean Course at Vale do Lobo in the Algarve.

Despite spending virtually all one bright sunny morning attempting to discover golf’s holy, magical grail none emerged successful.

Holes-in-one of course are a rarity and the chances of an average golfer celebrating one are fairly remote – an estimated 12,000-1 and 50,000-1 in any given round.

However, it’s by no means mission impossible and if you manage to hole out you can be a member of our new ace club. You never know, you can even become the very first member which would be a feather in any golfer’s cap…

To gain membership ‘all’ you need to do is register a hole-in-one (not on a pitch and putt course) and get it ratified by your playing partner and the host course’s secretary or pro.

Then send a copy of the card to TG Courses editor Kevin Brown at the usual TG address and you’ll be featured in our Hole-in-One roll of honour online.

Members will even receive a sleeve of Nike balls per member while stocks last!

Good luck and good golfing…
