New gym for top venue

Greetham Valley Hotel, Golf and Conference Centre, just off the A1 in the county of Rutland, is going from strength to strength.

The past twelve months have been the busiest ever, with the result that managing director Robert Hinch has felt confident enough to invest in a brand new gym facility which opened in time for the post-Christmas rush to get fit!

Key to Robert’s approach is the belief that to survive in a recession you need to get the basics right and do them well.  “If we focus on looking after our customers by giving them good service, with well maintained facilities, at a sensible price, then we stand a good chance of retaining them and winning some more”. 

The new gym features all the latest, state of the art equipment from market leaders Cybex; the gym is fully air conditioned, with wooden flooring, mirrored walls and TVs to keep people amused whilst working out on the range of treadmills, bikes, cross trainers etc, along with free weights.

Greetham Valley are also introducing a Bravo functional trainer, only the third of its kind in the UK.

Greetham boasts two excellent 18 hole courses (Lakes & Valley) and does a roaring 2-FORE!-1 GOLF trade – if you’ve got a 2-FORE!-1 voucher you can tackle both courses for the price of a single green fee!

As you would expect from a business firmly rooted in the local area, memberships will be available on a limited basis. 

Greetham Valley has steadily grown in size since first opening in 1992 and now employs over 50 full-time staff.
