It’s Open week at the Home of Golf and although you can’t get a game on the Old Course there’s still plenty of quality courses around St Andrews…and fortunately several are in 2-FORE!-1.
Pick of the bunch is the stunning clifftop venue of Fairmont St Andrews, home of two stunning 18 hole layouts (the Torrance and Kittocks) just down the coast from the Old Grey Toon.
Another St Andrews area 2-FORE!-1 star is the excellent par-71 parkland layout of Kirkcaldy which, also being in 2-FORE!-1, offers half-price green fees as does Cupar – believed to be the world’s oldest nine-hole course.
At Leuchars you’ll find the outstanding mature parkland of St Michaels while also well worth checking out with your 2-FORE!-1 voucher is par-72 heathland track Drumoig which provides a handy St Andrews base – it has a hotel on site.
