Top deal at Forest of Arden

Marriott Golf is extending its successful winter online offer at one of the finest courses in the Midlands.

During March and April golfers can book a round over the Arden (Championship) course at Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club, Maxstoke Lane, Meriden, near Coventry from as little as £35.

If the booking is made online at www.marriottgolf.co.uk each player will also receive a £10 voucher redeemable against goods purchased in the resort’s well-stocked golf shop. The same offer is available on the resort’s Aylesford Course, with green fees from £20.

The offer is subject to availability and only bookings made online are eligible to receive the £10 voucher.

“We introduced the offer in November to drive more online business and it has proved to be a huge success,” said Iain Burns, the Director of Golf at Marriott Forest of Arden.

“I think golfers are attracted by the fact they can play a well-known Championship course for as little as £35 and, if the booking is made online, the £10 voucher is an added bonus. We intend to maintain this incentive for all online bookings at the Forest of Arden this year”

The Arden course at Marriott Forest of Arden was designed by top British course architect Donald Steel and has regularly been used a venue for leading European Tour events.

It staged five British Masters in 1997, ’98, 2003, ’04 and ’05 and also three successive European Opens between 2000 and 2002. Past winners at the venue include Colin Montgomerie, Darren Clarke and Thomas Björn.
