Westwood Golf Academy at High Legh CC

Published:

Next week Lee Westwood will be focussing all his mental energy on the Open Championship but soon after his attention will shift to training the next generation of British professionals.

High Legh Park Country Club, Knutsford is playing host to The Lee Westwood Golf Academy on 26th-28th July, and Lee, the World’s number 2 Golfer, will be visiting the Academy to pass on his coaching tips to the children on Wednesday 27th July.

The Westwood Academy is for boys and girls aged 7-16 years, and represents an amazing opportunity for children to learn what it takes to become one of the world’s best golfers.

The coaching programme is designed in part by Lee himself and covers all aspects of the game, carrying a general ethos of ‘learning by having fun’.

Every attendee of the Academy will have the opportunity to win a day’s golf with Lee Westwood, and they will receive free Ping and Titleist equipment, a certificate, and a feedback form.

Lee says, “I am very proud of my Academy and the opportunity it presents for the young golfers.  My Academy is all about learning about the game whilst also enjoying it.  I look forward to seeing you all at the Academies in 2011.”

Whether you are a beginner or a budding ‘Lee Westwood’, the Westwood Academy will improve your golf whilst having a lot of fun!
