England aces shine at Brocket Hall

England’s footballing superstars celebratd their convincing recent European Championship win in Bulgaria with a round of golf on the Palmerston Course at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire.

Enjoying the last of the summer sunshine, Fabio Capello and his Team played the more challenging of Brocket Hall’s two courses.

The par 72 Palmerston Course, so-named after the British Prime Minister Lord Palmerston, who once resided on the Estate, provided Brocket Hall’s footballing greats with a challenging game, in magnificent woodland surroundings.

This Donald Steel designed masterpiece has recently undergone its annual maintenance, ensuring it remains one of the most highly regarded inland courses in the country.

Of the high profile guests, Tim Perkins, a Director of Brocket Hall said – “We were delighted to host the England Football Team as they relaxed in-between matches. They were fantastic guests and we look forward to welcoming them back in the future.”
