Golfing for a great charity cause

Ireland’s fabulous K Club Smurift Course, home to the European Open in 2004, 2006 and 2007, will be hosting a Charity Golf Classic, where all proceeds will be donated to Third Age, on Thursday October 6th.

Media partner for the event is Newstalk 106 who have persuaded a number of golfing celebs to take part including pop idol Shane Byrne and snooker star Ken Doherty.

You can help this great cause by entering a team into the shotgun start golf competition at 1pm. The format for the day will be the best two scores from four will count on each hole.

Cost of team entry is €1,000, which includes welcome snack on arrival, 18 holes of competition golf with great prizes and four places at the Gala Dinner.
