2-FORE!-1 six of the best

Got a 2-FORE!-1 voucher but not sure where to use and take advantage of it? Here are six more dream 2-FORE!-1 tracks…

*West Cornwall, Cornwall – Established in 1889, this is the oldest course in the county and one of the finest links in the region.

Moulded around the natural contours of the sand dunes, which form part of the Hayle Estuary and Porth Kidney Sands, the course enjoys panoramic views of St. Ives Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse.

Like many links, it isn’t especially long but provides a real challenge to golfers of all abilities, particularly in windy conditions.

*Galgorm Castle, Northern Ireland – Set in 220 acres of mature parkland in the heart of County Antrim, this beautiful course opened in 1997.

Overlooked by Galgorm Castle and bordered by a pair of rivers which meet at the back of the 13th green, water is a prominent feature with a handful of lakes to negotiate.

*Kendal, Cumbria – Excellent drainage ensures year-round golf for visitors and partly explains why so many golfers return time after time. The views from this delightful course take in the peaks of the Lake District as well as the Yorkshire Dales.

*Borth & Ynyslas, Wales – Stunning underrated links course which hugs the west coast of Wales, and gives players a series of stunning views as well as a strong test of their golfing abilities.

*Five Lakes, Essex – A real fairway to heaven, this venue is the home of two 18 hole courses (Lakes & Links) and a swish Crowne Plaza hotel and spa.

*Peterborough Milton, Cambs – Set in the Fitzwilliam Estate and with the magnificent Milton Hall at the far end of the course, this is a fine mature James Braid parkland track.
