All aboard Iceland express for unique golf experience

The low-fare airline, Iceland Express, is encouraging UK golfers to test their skills by offering up to 20% off green fees at 12 Icelandic courses. All golfers have to do is show their Iceland Express boarding card to get the discount.
The participating courses include the oldest and largest golf club, Reykjavik Golf Club, and the Husatoftavollur Golf Course which straddles two continents covering the American and Eurasian techtonic plates. All courses offer between 10 – 20% discount.
A round of golf on one of Iceland’s courses has been likened to playing on the moon, with vast expanses of volcanic crators surrounding many courses. Then throw in the near 24 hour daylight during the summer months which enables tee-off at midnight and you’ve got one of the strangest golf experiences in the world.
Flights to Reykjavik cost from just £78-one way which includes taxes, surcharges, check-in, a 20kg bag in the hold and 10kg hand luggage. And Iceland Express do not charge extra for flights booked on a debit card.
