Golden chance to take on rugby legend at st andrews

Golfers are being given a chance to join Scottish rugby legend Gavin Hastings OBE for a special event at the Home of Golf on Thursday September 13th.

The event is the Gavin Hastings Golf Challenge which takes place at The Duke’s Course, St Andrews, where Hastings is honorary captain.

The Duke’s‚ recently awarded “Best Greens in the UK” by 59club‚ boasts breathtaking views over St Andrews and across to the Angus hills and features in the Top 100 UK courses list.

During the day, participantys will get an opportunity to “Beat Gavin” on a selected par-3 hole with all proceeds going to a Parkinson’s charity.

Cost is £250 per two-person team. What’s included: bacon roll with coffee on arrival; driving range swing check from PGA professionals; 18 holes of golf with buggy; high tea and prizegiving – the best net team score to count on each hole.
