Summer holidays golfing fun at Wycombe Heights

Youngsters hoping to follow in the footsteps of golfing superstars such as Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald and Lee Westwood have been honing their skills with the expert PGA Professionals at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre, Buckinghamshire, throughout the summer holidays.

The children, aged from five up to 13, have been enjoying the coaching camps, learning the fundamentals of the sport, by utilising the centre’s facilities including 24-bay driving range, putting green and family-friendly Par-3 Course.

Each week the youngsters have been able to put into practice what they have learnt with fun competitions on the Par-3 Course, the ideal place for beginners to take their first steps in golf, or for the more established golfers to brush up on their short game skills.

Russell Stebbings, Wycombe Heights Golf Centre General Manager, said: “Our expert PGA Professionals Richard Perkin and Noel Rousseau have been working hard with children of all ages and abilities throughout the summer holidays, ensuring they are having a fun and enjoyable time, while also developing new skills.”

The Buckinghamshire venue also includes a testing mature parkland course and is a member of the 2-FORE!-1 scheme, offering half-price green fees to 2-FORE!-1 voucher holders.
