Rugby aces pitch up at top Cyprus resort

Elea Golf Club has welcomed a trio of the rugby elite including former England captain, Lewis Moody MBE, for a special fundraising evening for the Cyprus Rugby Federation.
The multi-award-winning golf estate welcomed 120 guests to the luxury dinner event, which included a gourmet buffet, live music and a charity auction, culminated with a question and answer session with the highly decorated rugby union stars.
World Cup winner Moody – England’s most capped flanker (72) – has won every major honour in the game including two Six Nations Championships as well as an incredible seven Premiership titles for Leicester Tigers plus winners medals for two Heineken Cups one LV= Cup.
Joining Moody in captivating the audience with enthralling tales from on and off the pitch were two former Leicester Tigers teammates of his, Leon Lloyd and Ireland international Geordan Murphy, who between them have scored more than 1,200 points for the Tigers.
